Acceptable Use Policy
Effective November 6, 2026
Terms of Service · Privacy Policy · Acceptable Use
This policy applies to everyone who uses Trip Watch, especially partners who run a fare-alert page. It protects travelers, other partners and the reputation of the emails we send on your behalf. Breaking it can lead to removal of content, suspension or termination under our Terms of Service.
1. Growing your list honestly
- Only invite people to sign up themselves through your page, embed, link or custom domain. Don't add, import, buy or scrape email addresses, and don't sign people up without their knowledge.
- Don't use bots, incentivised fake sign-ups, or misleading promises (for example "guaranteed $99 flights") to drive sign-ups.
- Describe the page truthfully: it's a free fare-alert service, and alerts can include affiliate links.
- Disclose affiliate relationships where the law or platform rules require it.
2. Content you provide
Your brand name, logo, images, descriptions and any other content must be yours or properly licensed, and must not be:
- false, deceptive or impersonating another person, brand, airline or travel company;
- infringing someone else's copyright, trademark or other rights;
- hateful, harassing, violent, sexually explicit, or discriminatory;
- promoting illegal activity, scams, unlicensed travel sales, or anything that endangers travelers.
3. Using the service
- Don't misuse Trip Watch to send spam or messages unrelated to travelers' trips.
- Don't create multiple free accounts to get around plan limits, inactivity rules, holds or the one-partner-per-destination policy, or claim pages for brands you don't represent.
- Don't scrape, copy or resell our fare data, pages or emails, or use automated access to Trip Watch except through the tools we provide (such as the partner Claude connector).
- Don't try to break, overload or probe our systems, bypass security, rate limits or human checks, or access other partners' or travelers' data.
- Don't tamper with booking or affiliate links, or route Trip Watch traffic through fraudulent clicks or cookie stuffing.
4. Subscriber data you export
- Use exported or synced subscriber data only for the travel communications people expect from you, follow email laws (such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR and CASL), honour unsubscribes, and keep the data secure.
- Don't sell or share your subscribers with third parties for their own marketing.
5. Enforcement and reporting
We may investigate suspected violations, remove content, pause or suspend pages, and cooperate with authorities. Where we can, we'll tell you what's wrong and give you a chance to fix it first. To report abuse, a page using your brand without permission, or content that infringes your rights, email our contact form with a link to the page.
